Are you married? #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-29 [03:11 pm]
Today, I talked with one of my best friends on messenger. Well...In fact, we couldn't get in touch with since I went to London. Anyway, we met on online. We were ever the same during the talk. He told me one thing made me shocked. He got married with another girl last year. I was extremely surprised. I remember he has got a girl friend and I thought they might get married and they were made for each other. However he didn't get married with her I have known. In fact, when I called him to inform I was going to London, he told me he parted from her. That was last news about them. Well...today, he shortly told me he got married with a good person. So, I couldn't ask more. That's all. He get married with a good person.

He asked about my relationship. I told him I still love her and I am still willing to do everything for her. He adviced me I should get married with my lover as soon as possible. Well...I think so, but I told him I need more money and time to prepare the wedding. Basically, I wish to stay with her forever and want to make her feel happy, so I need more, not now.

MacBook. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-27 [02:14 am]
Oops, what is this? I can't believe my eyes. It is Mac, isn't it? Recently, Apple introduced the new laptop series, called "MacBook". MacBook are consisted three models and as we expected there is a black model - 13.3", 2GHz, and IEEE 802.11g. Besides, the price is just 1,590,000 won. Have you used Mac? I'm exactly No. Even though I have wanted that, as you know the price of Mac was so expensive. Anyway, the formula is no longer.

However, hurryon, do you have enough money for lunch? -- hurryon 2006-06-27 02:20:16

Authentication methodologies. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-26 [03:03 am]
Well...there are a number of Mobile IP control message authentication methodologies, such as manually distributed Secret Keys, IPsec negotiated security associations, AAA negotiated security associations, self-signed Certificates containing Public Keys, and CA signed Certificates containing Public Keys. For each authentication method there are advantages and disadvantages (trade-offs) between bandwidth consumed, scaleability, complexity and performance. All authentication solutions are based on arriving at a compromise between these trade-offs.

As the number of nodes deployed increases, the number of secret keys increases even faster, namely (#nodes * (#nodes-1))/2, which increases complexity yet have a positive impact on performance as they are relatively easy to compute and process. With public keys, the number of keys needed = the number of nodes, reducing complexity yet have a negative impact on performance as they are more expensive to compute and process than secret keys.

For instance, if there are ten mobile nodes using the secret keys, the secret keys will need 45 secret keys. -- hurryon 2006-06-26 03:18:52

Well, there are some interesting and important documents.

We are all Red Devils. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-24 [02:30 am]
I believe that Korea will win the match against Switzerland in the football World Cup at 4 am Saturday morning Korean time. I know our team may not be the world's best, but we know there is no other team can beat us that easily and we won't give up. As we remember, our team never gave up in the match against France. In the match, we drew with France. After an hour and half we will play a match against Switzerland. Unlike the match against France, Korea is likely to attack vigorously and seek to score whenever possible. "We will become more aggressive to beat Switzerland," Advocaat said.

We can win. We will win.

I support Red Devils, although I can't be there. -- 61.72.111.28 2006-06-24 02:33:46

I couldn't agree to the criterion of the chief umpire. Today, Football was killed. He killed Football, but wouldn't kill us. We are all Red Devils and we will challenge again! -- hurryon 2006-06-24 06:10:15

Great one. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-22 [11:38 pm]
Well...this news might be great one for us. Someone seems a hungarian and Ph.D. student at MIT made some mipl2 stuff. The stuff can control mipl2 due to this supports the programming interface for end-user programmer, so we don't need to know about linux kernel programming. It's great! Take the following links:
At the links, we can find an updated path for controlling mipl against mipl-20060612 and also download the already patched code. The third link contains a mipl policy module (libmiplpol.so) and a companion library (libmip.so). The policy module is supposed to be used with mipl via the UsePolicyModule configuration file at the mobile node. The companion library is used from our custom application to control mipl. It's brilliant!!! All we wanted.

All I want for graduation. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-22 [12:36 pm]
Graduation. That's what I want. That's the most important for me these days. I can answer exactly if someone ask me you are ready to go out. Yes, why not! I've been ready to go out. I really want and I know I've stayed here too long. I had better to go out. As you know, we need a new system and method for all. I have an old style and I know it is not good for us. I believe we need a change.

Well...many times I thought what I can do for the lab and people. I don't know exactly what I would do, but I don't want to be a nuisance. Managing schedule for the projects and the lab seminar. I believe those are what I can do for the lab. Is there anything else? I don't want to care. In fact, That's enough for me. I don't want anymore. However, I'm always worring them how examine me after I go out and are going well. Owing to this thinking, I puzzle what I do. Am I warmhearted?

Evolution of the security industry. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-18 [01:03 am]
Well...there are some security solutions. Especially, Anti-Virus software, Firewall, IDS (Intrusion Detection System), IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), and VPN (Virtual Private Network) are well introduced to us. In this page, I will briefly note down some information of them. In fact, I have to research the history because my professor wants to know them.

Firstly, an anti-virus software consists of computer programs that attempt to identify, thwart and eliminate computer viruses and other malicious software (malware). The anti-virus software typically uses two different techniques - Virus dictionary approach, Suspicious behavior approach. Virus dictionary approach scans files to look for known viruses matching definitions in a virus dictionary. Other approach identifies suspicious behavior from any computer program which might indicate infection. Such analysis may include data captures, port monitoring and other methods. Historically, The first an anti-virus program is Reaper was created to delete Creeper (virus).

A firewall is a piece of hardware and/or software which functions in a networked environment to prevent some communications forbidden by the security policy, analogous to the function of firewalls in building construction. A firewall has the basic task of controlling traffic between different zones of trust. Typical zones of trust include the Internet (a zone with no trust) and an internal network (a zone with high trust). The ultimate goal is to provide controlled connectivity between zones of differing trust levels through the enforcement of a security policy and connectivity model based on the least privilege principle.

An Intrusion Detection System (IDS) generally detects unwanted manipulations to systems. There are a lot of different types of IDS, some of them are described here. The manipulations may take the form of attacks by skilled malicious hackers, or script kiddies using automated tools. An Intrusion Detection System is required to detect all types of malicious network traffic and computer usage that can't be detected by a conventional firewall. This includes network attacks against vulnerable services, data driven attacks on applications, host based attacks such as privilege escalation, unauthorized logins and access to sensitive files, and malware (viruses, trojan horses, and worms).

An intrusion prevention system is any device which exercises access control to protect computers from exploitation. "Intrusion prevention" technology is considered by some to be an extension of intrusion detection (IDS) technology, but it is actually another form of access control, like an application layer firewall. Intrusion prevention systems were invented independently by Jed Haile and Vern Paxon to resolve ambiguities in passive network monitoring by placing detection systems in-line. A considerable improvement upon firewall technologies, IPS make access control decisions based on application content, rather than IP address or ports as traditional firewalls had done. As IPS systems were originally a literal extension of intrusion detection systems, they continue to be related.

Lastly, a virtual private network (VPN) is a private communications network usually used within a company, or by several different companies or organizations, to communicate over a public network. VPN message traffic is carried on public networking infrastructure (e.g. the Internet) using standard (often insecure) protocols, or over a service provider's network providing VPN service guarded by well-defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) between the VPN customer and the VPN service provider.

Submitted by hurryon @ 06-17 [05:28 pm]
Well...yesterday I made a draft of his presentation. Firstly, I wrote the scenario and then assigned the tasks to people. In the process, I felt there is no one could do I wanted completely. I thought when I was a subordinate, my superior would feel like me. Well...it might be. How can I do like them? How can I lead my team well? I can't say anything exactly. Shall I do repeat exactly what they said and done? No. I don't want.

Above picture is the scenario to make the presentation. I sent an e-mail attached the draft of the presentation at the crack of dawn. His reply might come until today, so I have to revise in this weekend. -- hurryon 2006-06-17 17:32:06

Have you been to British Museum? British Museum is one of the world's largest and most important museums of human history and culture. In British Museum, there is a reading room. The reading room contains a collection of books on history, art, travel, and other subjects relevant to the British Museum's collections, on open shelves.

In many films, the reading room introduced, especially Seven. I strongly recommand. If you have a chance, don't hesitate...go there and then feel.

Submitted by hurryon @ 06-15 [03:03 am]
Last night I sent an e-mail him because of the final exam - I am a teaching assistant in his class. In the e-mail I wrote about the final exam I've made that for him. His reply was short - In fact, his reply is always short or none, however his e-mail gave me quit a lift. His words made me keep my chin up. Although he didn't know, I like him. There is no reason. He is my professor and adviser. That's all. Basically, these days I want someone to cheer up me and I need someone can console me. He gave me a word of comfort when I was sad even though he didn't know. When I mail him, I always say "stay healthy!". In this page, I now write again, "I pray to God for your health becase there is lots of people love you".

Today's study goal. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-13 [02:02 pm]
Well, I don't understand exactly about shared keys or certificates to setup IPsec security associations, although I have been studying about that. So today's study goal is security associations based on IPsec. In Mobile IPv6, the security associations's concept need to protect Mobile IPv6 signaling between Mobile Nodes and Home Agents.

To enable security associations in mobile environments, we need to deploy dynamic key delivery scheme because of the statically provision the necessary keys scheme is not feasible, especially in large networks with a lot of users. Today I found out two solutions for this problem.

The solution for the split scenario is described in [http]draft-ietf-mip6-bootstrapping-split-02.txt and [http]draft-ietf-mip6-bootstrapping-integrated-dhc-01.txt is the one for the integrated scenario. A key point behind these mechanisms is that, whenever static provisioning is not feasible, the AAA infrastructure of the Mobility Service Provider (MSP) can be used as the central element to enable dynamic Mobile IPv6 bootstrapping. -- hurryon 2006-06-13 17:07:02

New week and new place in the lab. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-12 [12:21 pm]
Well...this is Monday and my desk was moved into 81203 last Friday. As you know, the lab was in a bad mood - Three guys go out the lab since April. In fact, changing room hurt my feelings and was bittersweet, but I want to get the gloomy feelings out now. Let's make a plan and check this week's schedule. It will be pleased me. It's just Monday! New week!

I will keep my nose to the graindstone from now on. I have to hit the books to please my parents and her. Nothing is more important than that. I believe my father always keeps his eye on what I do in heaven. I will work hard so as not to let them down.

Today is a perfect day for a study!

Questions for me. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-09 [12:54 am]
Well...hurryon...just take these questions. I know you are just in gloomy mood and will escape that. To know what you think in these days, let's answer that.
  • Who do you want to see in this moment?
  • What do you want to do in this moment?
  • What do you want to get before you go out?
  • You don't look best pleased, what's up?

  • Who do yon want to see in this monent? a) My father. He's always my best and I feel I need his advice and so on.
  • What do you want to do in this moment? a) I don't know. I don't really know what I should do in this moment. Might be writing this?
  • What do you want to get before you go out? a) Well, they are too many. The best one is to make friends. These days I feel I don't have stand-alone personality.
  • You don't look best pleased, what's up? a) Don't worry about that. I am just in gloomy mood and will change my mood for all. I am just exhausted, but I will be fine. -- hurryon 2006-06-09 01:05:55

I have been rejected again. #
Submitted by hurryon @ 06-01 [02:31 am]
The notification which arrived last night made me falling on my knees. The paper which I submitted to HPCC 2006 has been rejected. It is three times in this year. How many times shall I submit the paper to get acceptance for the paper? I had believed that the paper could be accepted though others were dropped, but they didn't allow me for presentation at the conference. Moreover, the comments of reviews are so poor. They couldn't point out what my paper has the problems and weakness. The reviewers consisted four people who I don't know they are exports in wireless networks due to the comments are so poor as I mentioned before. For instance, a reviewer wrote the evaluation is quite good, however another one wrote the experimental evaluation measures lack. I can't believe everything of the comments.

Well...don't panic. Everything will go well. Make the plan for submitting my papers and then just wait. Don't hurry up. Finally, I will must be thrilled and win. Phew, It's already June! hurryon! Just stick with your job! Everything will be fine and as you know the time you go out has just six months. It's time for a ride. There is no stopping me. No one ever could!!! I am a thunderbolt, so I will be done everything.

Surfrider Association from ElleGarden's bring your board!

It's time for a ride. The tide is getting high. All I've got to do is to bring my board.
It's time for a ride. The tide is getting high. All I've got to do is to bring my board.
There's no stopping me. No one ever could. When I catch the wave, I'm a thunderbolt. I'm a big wave.

Tide is turning and it's getting high. Radio is playing many stupid songs. The pot is full with cappuccino.
A pile of work left undone. Completely useless by your standards. I'm not the huge part of it anyway.
Get away from sober events of everyday life.

It's time for a ride. The tide is getting high. All I've got to do is to bring my board.
There's no stopping me. No one ever could. When I catch the wave, I'm a thunderbolt.
Though I'm gonna die on the crest of a wave. Do not even feel sorry for that. Sorry for that.

Tide is turning and it's getting high. Radio is playing many stupid songs. The pot is full with cappuccino.
Morning sun is coming up. I wanna get in the water. Before the crowd gets here.
My cell phone is ringing. I don't care I know I'm dumped.

It's time for a ride. The tide is getting high. All I've got to do is to bring my board.
There's no stopping me. No one ever could. When I catch the wave, I'm a thunderbolt. I'm a big wave.

Hell I know you can't stop me. -- hurryon 2006-06-01 02:44:03

In this lyrics, I love some sentence.

"It's time for a ride."
"Radio is playing many stupid songs."
"There's no stopping me. No one ever could."
"I wanna get in the water. Before the crowd gets here."
"I don't care I know I'm dumped."
"Hell I know you can't stop me." -- hurryon 2006-06-01 02:57:13
